Who doesn’t love a Chalk Art Afternoon?
I’m so bad about getting content up on this blog. To keep myself honest, I want to make it a point to start posting at least once a week. A friend of mine does his weekly Sunday Photo and I thought I’d follow suit.
I have so many pictures from this summer that it only made sense to start there and move forward. We had a great trip with my parents this year. We don’t get to see them often, so it’s nice to make each visit special.
While we did plenty during the long weekend, sometimes it is the simplest picture that speaks the loudest. The weekend was all about keeping the kids connected to their grandparents and vice versa. This quick shot during an afternoon of chalk art at Jellystone Park at Natural Bridge tells that story and then some.
Did you have any special moments this summer? Leave me a comment and share your story.

I agree with you completely that it’s often the smallest of things that leave the biggest memories! Thank you for sharing your photo 🙂
